“The Truth shall set you Free.”
Someone may argue, “all this is good, but why believe only the Bible as the absolute word of God? How about other believes or interpretations of the inception of all things? Why couldn’t all or some be true?
It is really, very simple. When it comes to conflicting ideas, there is but one Truth. There is no such thing as an ‘all-inclusive’ truth. Truth, by definition, is always exclusive.”
The most fundamental law of logic and reality is the Law of Non-Contradiction. Logic simply states that even though there are many different religious viewpoints, they cannot all be right, given that they contrast each other. Either one of them is true, and the others are false, or all of them are false, and something else is true.
The bestselling author, Ravi Zacharias, points out, “that simply and firstly by using the most fundamental law of logic – and reality –which is the Law of Non-Contradiction, a law applying irrespective of a person’s cultural and religious background. In logic, everybody knows that the law of non-contradiction states: ‘A thing cannot both be “A” and “Non-A” at the same time and in the same relationship.’ Therefore, something cannot be true and not true at the same time… There is no such thing as an ‘all-inclusive’ truth. Truth, by definition, is always exclusive.”
There is another thing about Truth. Truth has that property that is able to set one free.
(Veritas liberabit vos).
No matter how hard the conflict may be, the Truth always prevails.
